Pastors Cliff and Martha DeArmond serve as the Lead Pastors of Hope Alive Church.
Cliff and Martha met in 2004 while both serving together in their local church. They were married in 2005 and now have four children, Caleb, Connor, Mariah and Chase. Throughout their lives they have served as Youth Pastors, Children's Pastors, Associate Pastors, Executive Pastors and Worship Leaders. They have worked as Administrators and Teachers in local Christian schools, as well as in television and media ministry.

Outside of the ministry they are entrepreneurs and business owners. Their desire is to use their gifts of administration, creativity and innovation to help strengthen the local church and to continue to spread the message of hope to the faith and business arenas.

Pastor Andy was born and raised in Midland TX. He has been married to Stephanie Gutierrez for 17 years. They have 2 daughters Khloee and Emree. Andy graduated from Legacy High School in 2005. He is currently working on his bachelor's degree in theology at Christ For The Nations. He has been a part of Hope Alive Church since 2020. From the age of 11 Andy served as a drummer on various worship teams. He was ordained at Hope Alive Church where he served as the Outreach Pastor before transitioning into children's ministry. He loves kids and finds joy in leading and teaching them.

Pastor Branden Leal, was born in Corpus Christi, TX. His family moved to Odessa in 2003. Deeply rooted in the church from a young age, Branden began serving in media at just 12 years old. His passion for ministry led him to become a youth leader in 2019. Branded was ordained as a Pastor in 2020. After working bi-vocationally for three years, Branden transitioned to full-time youth Pastor in 2022. He also plays an integral role on the production and merch teams and serves as the church graphic designer. Branden is happily married to his wife, Alizea, and they have a daughter named Aria.

Pastor Jeff Gillihan, is originally from Illinois, now claiming to be Texan since 2012. Jeff and his wife of thirty years Tina have four children (one adopted), and two grandchildren. Pastor Jeff has over 25 years of pastoral experience, including planting a church (Princeton, Il.) and revitalization.  Jeff and Tina founded Basin Dream Center for Orphans, a transitional living program for homeless young adults. Tina is the current CEO. Jeff is also a former business owner (food trucks / restaurant).

Our Hope Kids led by Pastor Andy Gutierrez range from babies as young as 6 months old to 5th grade. HopeKIDS meets every Sunday and every Wednesday!

Our Enfocus Youth is led by Pastor Branden Leal and the ages range from 6th grade to 12th grade. Our students meet every Wednesday at 7pm for a time of fellowship and the word!!

Our NEXT Young Adults ministry, led by Anthony Roque is geared for young adults ranging from 18-35 years old. NEXT is a community of young adults who want to be closer to God!

Our women's ministry "The Table" is led by our own Pastor Martha. The women of Hope Alive Church meet for brunch, lunches and small groups throughout the month to create community and discipleship.  

Building Bridges, led by Robert Ceniseros is a recovery ministry here at Hope Alive Church. Building Bridges has grown to a ministry that has many testimonies and its own community of support.

Man Alive led by Pastor Jeff Gillihan is a ministry of men who want to study and be closer to God. Man Alive meets for breakfast occasionally for a time of devotion and fellowship!

Renew is a Hope Alive Church group ministry. It addresses mental health and life challenges. We offer a small group of about 12 people and discuss a variety of topics that deal with relationships, conflict resolution, parenting, grief, identity, forgiveness, and so much more.

One is a marriage ministry of Hope Alive Church led by Pastor Martha DeArmond. We learn what God says about marriage and practical ways to help in communication and connection. We discuss topics of intimacy, communication, finances, family, parenting, and so much more.
